Membership Requirements 

Membership is open to any active law enforcement officer serving in the City of New Orleans.  Retired law enforcement officers who served in or are currently living in the New Orleans area are also eligible for membership.  N.O.P.D. Reserve Officers are eligible to join the Crescent City Lodge as Associate Members with full benefits of our local and state lodges.  Honorary membership in the Fraternal Order of Police is a coveted distinction awarded to individuals who have distinguished themselves by outstanding service to this organization and the law enforcement profession.  Only five Honorary Members may be accepted into the Order in any calendar year.
